Who makes Mixtape Hero

Mixtape Hero is built by the small team that originally created Music League — the music sharing game where friends pick songs around a theme and vote on each other's choices. We're no longer involved with Music League; Mixtape Hero is our independent next project, built by the same people who shaped the original idea.

What Mixtape Hero is

Mixtape Hero is a music sharing game you play with friends. A group picks a theme — songs that raised you, late-night drives, workout bangers, whatever you're feeling. Each person submits a track from their Spotify or Apple Music library. Then everyone listens, votes, comments, and gives badges. When voting closes, the picks are revealed so you can see who chose what.

It's a way to share the songs that matter with the people who matter, without algorithms in the middle.

How a game works

• Pick a theme. Anything you want — a feeling, a memory, a vibe.
• Everyone submits a song. Straight from your streaming library. No uploads, no files.
• Listen and vote. Hear what everyone picked. Cast votes, leave comments, hand out badges.
• The reveal. Find out who submitted what, and who's quietly got incredible taste.

Groups keep your friends together

A group is the home base for a circle of friends — your music club, your team, your weekly Discord crew. Once you're in a group, you can start as many games as you want without re-inviting everyone each time. Your group remembers who's in, keeps the chat going between games, and gives you one place to revisit past mixtapes and standings.
